Unassessed coursework
has to be handed in by the deadline and will be marked, so you will get
feedback,
but it will not count. If you do not hand them in you might face disciplinary
measures ..
Solutions to unassessed coursework and exercise sheets can be found here.
Selected Texts
- Summary notes
can be downloaded here.
NOTE: These notes only contain the main definitions and results.
Proofs are omitted although they will be assessed! Also these summary notes
do not contain examples. You need to attend the lectures for both.
- H.M. Taylor and S. Karlin , An Introduction to Stochastic Modelling
(rev. ed.), Academic Press, (1994).
A diagram which summarizes how to compute limits of n-step transition probabilities
has been produced by the level 2 student Hasan Hasanov.
