ONE DAY ERGODIC THEORY MEETING

This is part of a series of collaborative meetings between Bristol University, Liverpool University, Manchester University, Queen Mary, Surrey University and Warwick University, supported by a Scheme 3 grant from the London Mathematical Society.

• 1:15pm - 2:15pm in LTA: Cor Kraaikamp (Delft)
  Metric properties of α-Rosen fractions.

• 2:30pm - 3:30pm in LTA: Anish Ghosh (University of East Anglia)
  A dynamical approach to some problems in Diophantine approximation.

• 4:00pm - 5:00pm in 22AA04: Max Thaler (Salzburg)
  On the iteration of the Perron-Frobenius operator of a class of interval maps preserving an infinite measure.

The talks will take place in room LTA (first two) and 22AA04 (third).

Coffee and tea will be available at 3.30pm in room 40AA04. Wine at 5pm in room 40AA04. There will also be an evening meal in a local restaurant.
